We’re proud to shine a spotlight on two outstanding members of our Ashby de la Zouch team, Catrina and Alana, who have both been recognised as our Colleagues of the Month. Their dedication, compassion and willingness to go the extra mile demonstrate the difference our colleagues make every day to the people and families we support. We’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate their achievements and say a huge thank you for everything they do.
Catrina – Going Above and Beyond
Catrina has been part of our Ashby de la Zouch team for several months and has already made a fantastic impression. Her consistency, reliability and genuine compassion for her clients have been incredible to see.
She has settled seamlessly into the team and consistently ensures that she provides the highest standard of care. She is also proactive in recognising and reporting any concerns, helping to ensure that her clients remain safe, supported and well cared for.
Catrina’s dedication was recently highlighted by the daughter of one of her clients, who described her care as “exceptional”. She was also praised for her professionalism, positive attitude and ability to remain calm and de-escalate challenging circumstances.
It’s wonderful to see Catrina’s hard work recognised, and we’d like to say a huge thank you for everything she does for her clients and the wider Ashby de la Zouch team.
Alana – Supporting When It Matters Most
Alana has also been recognised for her flexibility, dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for her client and their family.
She has recently become involved in a new care package, completing additional training to provide complex care to a young client. As part of this, Alana has also stepped outside her usual working pattern to cover night shifts.
During a particularly challenging period when other colleagues were unavailable, Alana stepped up to ensure the client continued receiving the support they needed. Her flexibility and commitment have made a real difference, and the client’s family are incredibly grateful for the support she has provided.
Her willingness to learn new skills, adapt to the needs of her client and support the team when needed is a fantastic example of the dedication our colleagues demonstrate every day.
