How our carers can help
Our carers can support with a variety of light household tasks that help keep the home clean, organised and welcoming.
This may include:
- General tidying and organising
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen
- Washing up and kitchen cleaning
- Emptying bins
- Shopping for household essentials
- Watering indoor plants
- Keeping living spaces clean and comfortable
Supporting independence at home
Maintaining a comfortable home environment is an important part of living well at home. By helping with everyday household tasks, our carers can reduce the burden of chores and allow people to focus on the things they enjoy most.
We always encourage independence wherever possible and tailor support around individual preferences to ensure our clients remain in control of their daily routines.

What our carers cannot do
Our housekeeping support focuses on light domestic duties that contribute to a safe and comfortable home environment. While our carers are happy to assist with everyday household tasks, they are unable to undertake:
- Deep cleaning or specialist cleaning services
- Moving heavy furniture or large items
- DIY, decorating or home repairs
- Gardening or landscaping work
- Cleaning gutters or external windows
- Climbing ladders or working at height
- Tasks requiring specialist equipment or training
