Female Support Worker Required – Cheltenham
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Support Workers to join a care package supporting a lady living in Cheltenham who would like to be supported to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. The client has multiple complex medical needs and is paraplegic but does not want this to define her.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s life by providing person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
About the Role
You will be supporting a female client in her own home and within the community. Due to the nature of the support required, we are seeking female staff only for this position.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care.
- Assisting with daily living activities.
- Supporting health and wellbeing needs.
- Accompanying the client to appointments and community activities.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
- Delivering safe, person-centred care in line with care plans and risk assessments.
- Moving and assisting
- Cooking meals
- Companionship
Essential Requirements
- Female applicants only.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Confident driver willing to drive as part of the role.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs is desirable.
- Caring, patient, and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Shift Pattern
We are recruiting for staff able to work the following 12-hour shifts:
- Days: 07:30 – 19:30
- Nights: 19:30 – 07:30
Both full-time and part-time opportunities may be available.
