About Prestige Nursing & Care Bath:

Our Bath branch are all long serving and have a vast knowledge of the area and our client base. Our purpose is to provide high quality, community-based specialist home care and support. We aim to work together to achieve the goals of each of our varying clients, and to make a difference in their lives.

What we are looking for :

We are seeking a compassionate and person centred support worker to assist an elderly autistic gentleman in accessing and engaging in his local community – enjoying the activities he values most. These include attending church, listening to music, exploring art, visiting museums, and going to concerts.

In this role, you will accompany and support our client in a way that promotes his independence, well being, and confidence, enabling him to thrive.

Requirements :

• Driving licence and own car – essential
• Experience supporting autistic individuals or people with similar needs
• A patient, empathetic, and person centred approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and a commitment to building trust
• Willingness to support community based activities such as church, museums, and concerts

• You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for all attended training sessions, eLearning courses & shadow shifts
