The management are great, happy to help and are keen to work with us to address any of the problems that occur because of our declining health and or premises issues (my house is just over 100 years old). It's a great change from the more prescriptive and dogmatic styles we have experienced in the past.
The most important thing I can say is that we look forward to the carers visits and trust them implicitly.
The variety of work that is available makes things easier to match client requirements with the skills and preferences of the staff member. Critical to understanding this match and balance is having a team of coordinators who can help bring people together. To that end, I have found the team at Taunton to be very helpful in matching me with the right clients, as well as their availability for advice and guidance at all times of the day.
