Prestige Nursing + Care, one of the UK’s most established private nursing care and support care agencies, has received an overall ‘Outstanding’ Care Quality Commission (CQC) /p>
The Prestige Nursing + Care branch in Crownhill, Plymouth was rated as outstanding for the way the service is led, and for the level of care of its services.
The branch, which was inspected in January 2019, was praised for its ‘exceptionally caring’ service, and its staff who ‘went ‘above and beyond’ just providing for their care and support needs.’ The report also stated that: ‘everyone we spoke with, without exception, told us that the care and service provided by staff and management at Prestige Nursing Plymouth was outstanding’.
The links with the local community and local businesses was also highlighted, and the registered manager, Emma Bonney, was singled out for praise for her open culture and commitment to constantly make improvements to the care the branch provides.
Prestige Nursing + Care Plymouth has 63 members and six branch staff. Its services include supporting people who require companionship and minimal support through to caring for people with complex health needs. The branch also supplies experienced care and nursing staff to homecare clients, care homes, specialist respite centres, day centres, GP surgeries, learning disability homes and day centres, residential schools and occupational health establishments.
The service received ‘good’ ratings for its safety, effectiveness, and responsiveness by the CQC.
