WORKING WITH THE INTEGRATED CARE BOARD (ICB) – formerly known as Clinical Commissioning Groups.

Prestige Nursing & Care is an established home care provider with over 75 years’ experience of delivering high-quality nurse-led care to generations of people across the country.

We are a trusted partner of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and NHS Continuing Healthcare teams up and down the country to whom we provide highly-personalised, outcome-based nurse-led complex care packages that are focused on improving quality of life, for all of life.

Our core belief is that a person, no matter what their age should be able to receive high-quality, expert nurse-led care at home as opposed to having to spend prolonged periods of time in an acute or specialist care setting, to get the complex care they need.

We understand that commissioners of complex care packages are looking for a professional, safe, reliable and effective clinical approach to providing care and support. Clinical excellence is at the heart of what we do at Prestige Nursing & Care, and our experienced nursing teams and expertly trained carers enable clients to live well at home, with improved health outcomes.

Whether we are providing paediatric care to a young child or supporting an adult who has had a life-changing accident, through to adults and older people living with complex neurological conditions or other physical disabilities, we ensure that the right care is in place, at the right time.

We have a wealth of expertise in the specialist care of conditions and disabilities that impact a person’s ability to live independently, including:

  • Brain injury
  • Bariatric challenges
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Dementia
  • Mobility issues
  • Motor neurone disease
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Palliative / end-of-life
  • Parkinson’s

  • General adult nursing
  • Learning and disability nursing
  • Mental health nursing
  • Children’s nursing

Working closely with our professional partners, our clients and their families our team can plan and deliver safe and effective complex care to our clients.  We are experienced in identifying specific care needs, monitoring changes and planning the most appropriate care provision, whilst ensuring all our carers have the skills they need to deliver high standards of nursing care.  We know through our existing partnerships with the Integrated Care Board (ICB), formerly known as Clinical Commissioning Groups, that this clinical excellence provides reassurance and drives efficiencies in ways of working and delivers best practice clinical care to those we care for.  Our nursing teams are experienced in providing the high levels of reporting to ICB clinical teams, saving your valuable resources.

We also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, multidisciplinary teams, therapy providers and community support services involved in our client’s care to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to nursing care we provide. The level of care provided is planned in partnership with everyone involved in a client’s care, as we know through our experience this ensures goals are reached and outcomes are improved.

“I visited John for the first time to complete his three-month review. I was asked by the family to pass on their thanks and positive feedback about the nurses and carers looking after John. They have total reassurance that the care is organised efficiently, is delivered by the same team offering them continuity and are pleased to know a registered nurse is always on shift to guide clinical interventions.”

When you choose to commission a care service with Prestige Nursing & Care you can be reassured that the carer is experienced and expertly trained to provide the specific care and support required.

All carers providing complex care packages will have at least six months care or health sector experience. We adopt a bespoke and on-going approach to training that ensures our carers have the knowledge, skills and aptitude to deliver high-quality complex care that meets the very specific needs of our clients.  Through our unrivalled supervision and clinical oversight carers can adapt their approach and evolve the care they provide to meet changing needs.

Our competent carers can deliver clinical interventions that negate the need to rely on community district nursing teams and work efficiently to achieve more in less time, providing funding savings back to our commissioning partners.
