Our mission is to help anyone of any age, ability or health condition remain safe, well and independent in their own home and to enjoy the best quality of life that is possible. Our experience shows us that being at home improves the quality of life for our clients and their family.

What makes us different is our promise to make a positive difference to the quality of our clients’ lives with every visit. We take time to put in place care and support programmes that are personal to the needs and requirements of each client and their family and we work closely with other community health and social care professionals. Our Service Guarantee provides our clients with a care quality assurance for additional peace of mind.

Our community homecare and support programmes are provided by highly qualified teams of locally based registered nurses, healthcare workers and Care Coordinators. They are supported by a network of over 40 branch-based teams across England and Scotland. Our local teams support over 2,000 clients every week and we are always available whenever you need us.

We take great pride in the services we deliver and were delighted that our November 2016 client survey reported 94% of our clients as being either fully satisfied or satisfied with the level of care and support we provide.

Our Nurses and Carers

The quality of our Homecare service depends entirely on the quality of the nurses and carers we place with clients. At Prestige Nursing + Care we have a simple rule when it comes to recruitment: if we wouldn’t be happy for a particular nurse or Carer to look after us or a member of our family, then they are certainly not good enough for you. This is just one reason why we typically reject 4 out of every 5 applicants that try to join us because they don’t meet our high standards. It’s also the reason why we are so confident in offering our Service Guarantee for our services.

Each nurse or carer seeking to join Prestige Nursing + Care goes through at least 20 different checks that include a 60 minute face to face interview, an annual CRB check, 2 written references from previous employers, PIN checks for nurses, work permit verification, evidence of recent training, as well as various competency assessments for the role for which they are applying. Even when they successfully pass these they receive on-going supervision and we regularly ask for feedback from our clients. It is no wonder then that in 2013 98% of our clients were satisfied with the service they received from us.
