At Prestige Nursing + Care, we offer the courses that can help you to kickstart a career in care and also further develop your skills and expertise in any number of areas.
Making a difference to a person’s health and wellbeing, or helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and control, can give you an enormous sense of personal achievement. However, health and social care careers also come with physical and mental pressures, and you will need to prepare yourself for working with a wide range of people, so it’s important to be prepared.
If you think a career in care is for you, whether you are looking for a change, considering a return to the healthcare sector, or starting your working life following school, college or university, Prestige Nursing can help you get that first foot on the ladder.
Our award-winning Introduction to Care course is a comprehensive training programme that ensures you are equipped with the right knowledge and skills to pursue care jobs, even if you have less than 12 months experience.
The programme combines some of Prestige Nursing’s existing care courses with a number of new initiatives, to offer you the most up-to-date training. The course focuses on theoretical elements, in the form of presentations, workshops and workbooks, and practical skills, both of which are assessed after a three month period. Our Introduction to Care courses also allow you to gain hands-on experience shadowing one of our experienced senior care workers for a number of paid shifts.
