Professional Home Care Assistant
- Permanent – Full Time or Part Time
- Salary: £13.50 – £14 ph
Prestige Nursing & Care Bromley are seeking Professional Home Care workers to join our growing team.
We need compassionate, committed, caring staff to join our team and support our service users across the region.
We provide all new members with our mandatory training programme, and further client-specific training where necessary. We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users throughout East Lancashire. We can offer flexibility with either full time or part time hours.
The Role:
Tasks may include:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with mobility and transfers to help clients move safely around their home
- Help with meal preparation and light household chores to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
- Administer medication as per care plans and monitor health conditions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe transportation
- Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Hours
AM – 0700-1400 – Morning and lunch calls
PM – 1500-2200 – Teas and bed’s

Requirements
- Valid driving licence
- Experience working in care
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
