I spent over ten years working in banking and finance, helping businesses grow and leading teams in fast-paced environments across London, Bristol, and Reading. Over time, though, I realised I wanted to build something of my own—something that felt meaningful and made a real difference.
That’s what led me here. Healthcare felt like the perfect fit because it brought together my experience in business with my desire to give back to the community. Working alongside Chandani, who brings incredible clinical knowledge, has made this journey even more rewarding.
As Director of Prestige Nursing & Care in Bath & Bristol East, I’m focused on building a strong, motivated team and creating a service we can all be proud of—one that delivers excellent care and treats everyone with dignity and respect. For me, good leadership is about looking after your people so they can look after others, and that’s exactly what we’re here to do.

I’ve worked in healthcare all my life—it’s always felt like where I belong. I started out as a nurse in Nepal and carried on my career here in the UK with the NHS, working in everything from A&E to obstetrics and private care. Those experiences have taught me just how much of a difference good, compassionate care can make to someone’s life.
For me, this isn’t just a job—it’s something I care deeply about. Being there for people when they’re at their most vulnerable is a privilege, and it’s something I never take for granted.
As Director of Prestige Nursing & Care in Bath & Bristol East, I bring my nursing background and hands-on experience to make sure our clients feel supported, safe, and respected. Together with Kishan, I’m proud to be building a branch that puts people at the heart of everything we do—both the people we care for and the amazing team around us.

I am the Registered Branch Manager for Bath & Bristol East and have been with Prestige for 7 years. I have developed my knowledge and skills during this time and achieved a distinction in my level 5 Leader in Adult Care qualification, of which I am very proud.
This is more than just a job for me, I am passionate about promoting independence and creating the right environment for our clients to thrive, not just survive. I love the diversity my job brings and I am also very grateful for our wonderful teams both in and out of the office.
Sheila Comber
Care Planner
I am a dedicated care planner with over 30 years' experience in the care sector having worked in care since 1994. I bring extensive knowledge and hands-on-experience in supporting people with learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, mental health, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, elderly, dementia, and end of life care.
I hold a City and Guilds Foundation Management in Care and a City & Guilds Advanced Management in Care qualification which I achieved between 1998 and 1999, and I have also previously been a registered manager for over 15 years in my previous roles.
1 am known for my compassionate approach strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to both team settings and independent roles. I am a natural listener with a deep sense of empathy, and I am deeply committed to delivering person-centred-care that meets the unique neds of each induvial that we support.
In my personal life I am married, and I have 2 grown up children and I am a grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. Outside of work my hobbies are interior design, making wax melts watching sports especially tennis and listening to music, reading, and watching films based on true stories.
