Following a significant restructure of our clients staffing base, we are looking for a Deputy Manager to take over the day to day running of this beautiful nursing home based on the coast.
The role is responsible for planning, managing and evaluating the nursing and care services to the best benefit of the residents. This includes management of key services, staff and creating an enjoyable and rewarding environment for the resident elderly clients through to dealing positively with any issues within the home.
Key accountabilities
· Management of activity associated with the residents in the Home within budget outlined in the plans
· Take responsibility for planning, managing and executing all activity within the Deputy Manager's remit.
· Day-to-day management of staff and rota’s
· Deliver clear, concise and reliable reporting to superiors
·Working with CQC to ensure continued Excellent Status of the home
·Conduct regular compliance audits
·Ensure medication process is supervised and thoroughly checked
Your knowledge, skills and experience
·At least 4 years experience within a management position
·Excellent communication skills – able to construct a clear brief on requirements and translate that to staff and residents alike to great response
·Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations
·Up to date NMC registration and PIN
·Proven track record of managing and auditing home to comply and exceed all regulations
·Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at the same time
·Evidence of strong people and project management skills
·Evidence of a strategic / commercial customer focused background
