We are looking for two registered nurses to participate in the day to day running of this beautiful purpose built nursing home that cares for residents with mental health difficulties.
The role is responsible for providing high quality nursing care and creating an enjoyable and rewarding environment for the resident elderly clients through to dealing positively with any issues within the home in conjuction with the deputy and home manager.
Key accountabilities
· To promote and ensure the good reputation of the home at all times.
· To continuously evaluate the quality of care given, and regularly reassess the needs of service usres in consultation with the service users, their realtives and the care team.
· Care planning and the implementation of care plans.
· Deliver clear, concise and reliable reporting to superiors
·Working with CQC to ensure continued Good Status of the home
·Inform Next of Kin of any significant changes in a residents condition
·To ensure the effective and efficient use of all home resources.
Your knowledge, skills and experience
·RGN or RMN regsitration essential
·Self and team motivated
·Organised
·Sensitive to the needs of others but able to implement action plans to address identified needs
·Good knowledge and understanding of nursing roles and professional boundaries
·Active team player but also able to work on own initiative
·Experience in an elderly or dementia setting would be desirable.

About the home
The home is a two-storey, detached purpose built care home providing both nursing and personal care for adults with memory problems and dementia. The home has its own grounds. Bedroom accommodation is all single with en-suite facilities.
The home provides all services that the resident may need, including a full schedule of activities in which each resident may choose to participate.
Other services include chiropody, dentistry, daily newspaper delivery, and church services.
