We are looking for a registered nurse to participate in the day to day running of this beautiful nursing home based in Somerset.
The role is responsible for providing high quality nursing care and creating an enjoyable and rewarding environment for the resident elderly clients through to dealing positively with any issues within the home in conjuction with the home manager.
Key accountabilities
· To promote and ensure the good reputation of the home at all times.
· To continuously evaluate the quality of care given, and regularly reassess the needs of service usres in consultation with the service users, their realtives and the care team.
· Care planning and the implementation of care plans.
· Deliver clear, concise and reliable reporting to superiors
·Working with CQC to ensure continued Good Status of the home
·Ensuring the safety of all residents whilst on duty
·To ensure the effective and efficient use of all home resources.
Your knowledge, skills and experience
·General nurse training and registration 1st or 2nd level.
·Self and team motivated
·Organised
·Flexible
·Sensitive to the needs of others but able to implement action plans to adderss identified needs
·Good knowledge and understanding of nursing roles and professional boundaries
·Active team player but also able to work on own initiative
·Minimum of a years experience as a UK nurse.

About the home
The home in a idyllic village, close to a local pub and village shops. It was completed in 1993 as a nursing home and comprises of a conversion of a large house and additional modern extensions.
The home is registered to provide 59 nursing beds and 17 beds for personal care.
The home has extensive gardens that are well maintained, with some areas easily accessible
