We are looking for a Deputy Manager to help with the day to day running of this lovely nursing home based just outside of Haywards Heath.
The role is responsible for planning, managing and evaluating the nursing and care services to the best benefit of the residents. This includes management of key services, staff and creating an enjoyable and rewarding environment for the resident elderly clients through to dealing positively with any issues within the home. There will also be a chance to head up special projects in conjuction with the managers directives.
Key accountabilities
· Management of activity associated with the residents in the Home within budget outlined in the plans
· Take responsibility for planning, managing and executing all activity within the Deptuy Manager's remit.
· Day-to-day management of staff and rota’s
· Deliver clear, concise and reliable reporting to superiors
·Working with CQC to ensure continued status of the home
·Conduct regular compliance audits
·Ensure medication process is supervised and thoroughly checked
Your knowledge, skills and experience
·Experience in an elderly care setting, not necessarily in a management role
·Excellent communication skills – able to construct a clear brief on requirements and translate that to staff and residents alike to great response
·Knowledge of CQC regulations
·Up to date NMC registration and PIN
·Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at the same time
·Evidence of strong people skills

A care home with nursing registered to provide personal and nursing care to 49 people in the categories older people and people with physical disabilities.
The home offers accommodation over three floors with all ensuite bedrooms and a range of specialist equipment.
